    First Aid for Mental Health Accredited Training Level 2

    The Level 2 Award in First Aid for Mental Health is an accredited one-day course designed to give learners the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to recognise and support colleagues, friends, or clients who may be experiencing a mental health difficulty.

    Participants explore common conditions such as stress, anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts, learning how to approach sensitive conversations, offer reassurance, and signpost individuals to professional support.

    First Aid for Mental Health Accredited Training Level 3

    The Level 3 Award in Supervising First Aid for Mental Health is an accredited two-day qualification designed for those who hold a responsibility for promoting positive mental health and wellbeing within their organisation.

    Building on the knowledge from Level 2, this advanced course provides a deeper understanding of a wide range of mental health conditions, including stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, self-harm, and substance misuse. Learners develop the confidence to have supportive conversations, guide others towards appropriate professional help, and implement effective wellbeing strategies within their teams or workplace.

    Leadership Training

    Strong leadership isn’t just about strategy — it’s about people.
    This interactive and empowering one-day training programme helps leaders and managers develop the self-awareness, communication skills, and emotional intelligence needed to inspire and support high-performing, psychologically safe teams.

    Through a blend of theory, reflection, and practical exercises, participants explore key areas such as leadership and communication styles, emotional intelligence, and psychological safety, alongside insights from The Five Dysfunctions of a Team framework.

    Leadership Wellbeing Coaching

    Leading others begins with understanding yourself.
    Our Leadership Coaching supports managers and leaders in developing the confidence, empathy, and awareness needed to guide teams through the challenges of mental health, ADHD, and workplace wellbeing.

    Through reflective coaching conversations, we explore leadership mindset, emotional intelligence, communication styles, and strategies for creating psychologically safe environments — helping you to support your people with compassion while maintaining balance and resilience in your own role.

    Together, we’ll strengthen your ability to lead authentically, nurture wellbeing, and create a culture where every individual feels valued and supported to thrive.

My story:

I’ve spent over a decade working in corporate training, leadership, and learning & development, supporting people to grow, lead, and reach their potential. But over time, I realised that while organisations were investing in skills and compliance, many were missing something fundamental — real human connection, understanding, and wellbeing.

That realisation inspired me to create R Cox Training & Coaching — a space where training and coaching are not just about ticking a box, but about making a genuine difference. My goal is to deliver high-quality, accredited training and coaching that’s also accessible and cost-effective, helping organisations meet their health and safety requirements while going beyond compliance to build cultures of care and compassion.

I’m an accredited Nuco Instructor, specialising in First Aid for Mental Health, leadership development, and workplace wellbeing. Alongside this, I’m an accredited coach and am currently working towards becoming a Counselling Psychologist, continuing to deepen my understanding of mental health and human behaviour.

As someone with ADHD/ADD, I bring both professional expertise and personal insight into the challenges individuals face when environments don’t always support their needs. I know what it’s like to feel misunderstood, frustrated, or out of sync — and I use that lived experience to connect with clients on a deeper level, helping them to find practical, empowering ways to work with their unique strengths.

Through every training session and coaching conversation, my mission is the same:
To help organisations build psychologically safe, emotionally intelligent workplaces, and to help individuals thrive — not just survive — in both life and work.

Because when we invest in people, we don’t just meet policy — we create lasting change.
